Flight search that compares the price you will actually pay
The cheapest fare on a comparison site is usually not the cheapest trip once bags, seat selection, and payment fees are added.
Build a flight search where you enter what you are travelling with once, a cabin bag and a checked bag for example, and every result shows the total for that trip.
Include seat selection charges, card fees, and the cost of choosing a seat next to the person you are travelling with.
Rank by real total rather than headline fare. Show the difference between the two so people can see what was hidden.
Start with a handful of airlines where the fee structures are published and get those exactly right.
